As part of our 10 for 20 anniversary series, we present ‘Hit me with music’ – a vivid exploration of Dancehall’s rise and the communities that shaped it. Featuring Yellowman, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, and Elephant Man, the film captures a culture defined by resilience, creativity, and rhythm. Screened at TTFF/11, ‘Hit me with music’ was a double winner for director Miquel Galofré, taking home both the People’s Choice Award and Best Documentary Feature.
