Kambule Performing Arts Collective presents a night song and dance, resistance and remembrance on August 5th at Central Bank Auditorium.
In addition to excerpts from the play 'Freedom Morning Come' by Eintou Pearl Springer we'll also be launching The Sound of the Drum : Songs, Chants and Lavways of Kambule a new album of traditional and contemporary songs which was recorded at the historic Blackman Ranch Jamoo Studio in Piparo.
Featured artists include Stacey Sobers, Keegan Taylor, Sheena 'Ajibola' Richardson, Ire and the Kambule Performing Arts Collective.
