Generations of Steel – A Historic Celebration of Trinidad and Tobago’s Steelband Legacy

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – The heartbeat of Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument will echo across the Queen's Park Savannah Grandstand when Generations of Steel takes center stage on Saturday 11th July, .

This landmark steelband showcase will feature four of the most celebrated steel orchestras in the world — Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, All Stars Steel Orchestra, Invaders Steel Orchestra, Fonclair Steel Orchestra and Supernovaa Steel Orchestra — each appearing with both their Senior Bands and Youth Bands, creating a powerful musical experience that bridges the past, present, and future of the steelpan movement.

Generations of Steel celebrates the enduring legacy of Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument while highlighting the next generation of pannists who continue to carry the tradition forward. Audiences will witness a thrilling musical exchange as seasoned masters of the pan share the stage with talented young musicians who represent the future of the art form.

The event promises an evening of electrifying performances, dynamic musical arrangements, and the unmistakable sound of steel that has carried Trinidad and Tobago’s culture across the world.
