Description

The story of "The Frog Prince" is a classic fairy tale that has been told and retold in various forms over the centuries. The most well-known version comes from the Brothers Grimm, who included it in their collection of fairy tales published in the early 19th century.

In the Grimm version, the tale begins with a young princess who loses her golden ball in a pond. A frog retrieves it for her, but in return, he asks to be her companion. Reluctantly, the princess agrees, and the frog follows her to the palace. Despite her initial revulsion, she allows the frog to eat from her plate and sleep on her pillow, as she had promised. Eventually, the frog transforms into a handsome prince, revealing that he had been cursed by a wicked witch. The spell is broken by the princess's acceptance and kindness.

The story is often interpreted as a lesson in keeping promises and looking beyond appearances to find true worth. Over time, "The Frog Prince" has been adapted into numerous books, films, and plays, each adding its own twist to the timeless narrative
