The ethos of the tour this year comes from the idea of living and creating “beyond the machine”, meaning highlighting the life and work of artists who exist outside of the folds of mainstream culture but are often the storehouses of said culture.
Artists who have not had the overwhelming support of the mainstream and yet still have managed to find their way amidst the noise and become pivotal within their own cultures and even the wider world.
