Bocas Lit Fest - "There’s No Place Like..." - principles of world-building and place-writing, with Tessa McWatt, winner of the 2026 OCM Bocas Prize for Nonfiction

Readers want to be immersed in the story’s world, whether in fiction or nonfiction. This workshop, open to writers of both genres, will explore principles and techniques of world-building and place-writing that will enhance your prose and help you create a setting that’s both convincing and thematically effective.

Early-bird registration is TT$100 through Sun 12 April, 2026, and TT$200 from Mon 13 April, 2026.
