GALA LAUNCH OF 'THE RISE OF AFRO-FUTURISM' EXHIBITION & SEMINAR

 Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’, Sony’s ‘Into the Spider Verse’, along with shows like HBO’s ‘Watchmen’ and ‘Lovecraft Country’ exploded Afro-Futurism into popular consciousness changing the game for Black heroism and imaginative freedom. Afro-Futurism refers to storytelling by Black, Brown, and ethnic peoples, free from shackles and stereotype- including Black Sci-Fi and Fantasy. 

The cocktail gala launch for the THE RISE OF AFRO-FUTURISM Exhibition will feature the international debut of an NFT of Hip Hop martyr Nipsey Hussle from Hussle’s Trinidadian mentor Dexter Browne. The gala will close with a feature address by international digital artist Vince Fraser after which there will be cocktails where the audience will mix and mingle.
