Griot Benedictions

There are stories carried in the rhythm of a drum.

Stories whispered through generations.

Stories that live in melody, movement, memory—and voice.

This October, Black Collar Creative Foundation invites you to experience an extraordinary evening of music, culture and storytelling as we honour the legacy of Janine Charles Farray.

Featuring our reigning Calypso Queen, Terri Lyons, Chuck Gordan, Stacey Sobers-Abraham, Dr. Eddie Cumberbatch, Natalia Dopwell, Marva Newton and many more...

Join us for our annual fundraising concert: GRIOT BENEDICTIONS!

From the timeless sound of Classical music, the soul of Calypso, the vibrancy of Pan, the warmth of Parang to the energy of Contemporary sounds - come hear stories unfold through the gift of music.
